The song features an orchestral arrangement by Gene Page which includes flutes, horns, and strings.. The song made its album debut on 's Elton John's Greatest Hits Volume II.

6. Jul 31,  · I was able to reacquire this one when it was rereleased. One of my favorite Elton John songs is I Don't Want to Go On With You Like That from Reg Strikes Back. The box set uses the Shep Pettibone remix. What is your opinion of that remix and how rare was that as a 12' single? I believe it is a bonus track on the JPN cd of that album.

8. Although Elt's Greatest Hits 1 contains all the most famous hits, this follow up is just as good. Differs slightly (as does Greatest Hits 1) with track listing to original LP but still great. Just the right time length as well. Introduces lesser know hits such as Island Girl, The Ballad and Get Some Funk of Your Own. Sound Quality very good.
